ABOUT YOUR COACH
Over the past 17 years, I've competed in Powerlifting, Bodybuilding, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I've gotten in shape repeatedly for competition, as well as appearances in books, magazines, and DVDs. I've helped clients of all ages achieve similar results, get out of pain, and lose thousands of pounds. From busy professionals, to professional athletes, in every age group.
Here in New Jersey, I've maintained a full schedule of clients that have been with me over a decade, injury free. I've trained trainers, instructed seminars, and worked alongside some of the best in the business. Most importantly, I'm a lifelong student. I've spent whole years experimenting with habits, following diets, and being coached by some of the biggest names in fitness and nutrition.
Why DO YOU NEED A COACH?
Practicing fundamental movements under load, also known as Strength Training, is the basis of, and what makes you better at, everything you do. If the 'sport' you enjoy is golf, tennis, grappling, jogging, or cycling, the only way to counteract the accumulated imbalances and potential injuries is through instruction from a qualified strength coach. If you're in the car for long bouts, or sit most of the day at work, the best way to counteract the postural issues, the tightness, and most of the aches you experience, is through strength training. Strength Training will also have a greater positive impact on your physique, than any form cardio as a standalone. Whether your goal is to lose body fat, to build muscle, to get out of pain, or to function better in your sport, strength training is the most valuable and sustainable method of getting it done.
However, random workouts are unlikely to get you to your goal. Repeating the same few workouts over and over again are unlikely to get you to your goal. Believe it or not, training as hard as you can for as long as you can will not get you to your goal. To make sustainable progress, there has to be a plan. The strength training has to be progressive. It should be periodized. It will probably need to be adjusted by a professional from week to week. Ample recovery and real life hurdles will have to be accounted for. And all of this, requires help from a coach with experience. A coach who's worked hundreds of clients in multiple demographics over multiple decades. Here are the services we currently offer.
